Rumor: Next Xbox coming in October/November 2013
January 24th, 2012 Posted in 360, News, Wii U Posted By: ValayIGN is reporting that Microsoft is readying the Xbox 360 successor for October/November 2013. Development kits will likely make their way out to developers in August. According to IGN, the console will supposedly feature six times the processing power of the company’s current console “and will yield 20-percent greater performance than Nintendo’s forthcoming console, the Wii U.”
The site also states that mass production of the next Xbox will contain a “processor will be derived from the 6000 series, which was introduced last year.” It’s apparently comparable to the Radeon HD 6670. This particular piece of technology boasts DirectX11, multidisplay output, 3D and 1080p HD output.
