EA has announced that Dead Space 3’s demo on the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network “is being enjoyed by close to two million players this weekend”. That’s double the total for Dead Space 2’s demo.
Dead Space 3 pre-orders are once again confirmed to be performing well. EA has relayed information from retailers suggesting its “pre-sells are ahead of expectations”. A few days ago, the publisher stated that “Dead Space 3 pre-sells are outpacing Dead Space 2″.
EA is also praising Dead Space 3’s success on social media. The company detected over 100,000 mentions through various channels last week, and nearly 90,000 new “likes” hit the game’s Facebook page – which now stands at 1.4 million.
