The first two premieres for the 2012 Spike TV Video Game Awards have been confirmed. As is revealed in the latest issue of Game Informer, The Last of Us and Gears of War: Judgement will have brand new content to debut next month.

Game Informer provided the following image for The Last of Us in its latest issue, and also teased:

“It looks as though Joel and Ellie are joined by this mysterious woman in The Last of Us. Who is she? Can she be trusted? Stay tuned.”

What Microsoft intends to show of Judgment at the VGAs is slightly less clear. However, Game Informer said fans can expect “a new look” at the title along with “some never-before-seen environments” (see below).

but bro it’s a gears game….. lol jk

  • Matthew B

The Last Of Us really looking forward to for sure

why gears of war?? imo its such a bad title. Heres a thought, give 343i the ability to make a true sequel to perfect dark. The mp, Bots, all the weapons, classic levels, challenges, coop and the skedar. Not like that pd0 junk.
I love the xbox but ive been seriously doubting it for the past year. Weak xbla sales , these kinect games makes me shudder, and im tired of paying 60$ for xbl. This holiday might be the time i jump to the ps3 and ps+!

The Last of Us is looking to overshadow even games from the launch lineup of any next-gen console that might release next year. This PS3 game is going to make the early PS4/X720 (lazy) games look bad.

  • Hélder Chamba

Come The Last Of Us i can hardly wait lol…

  • Dave Molecular

I want to see more GTA V (doubtful), Tomb Raider, Star Wars 1313, Watch Dogs, Remember Me, Beyond:Two Souls, and Metal Gear Solid:Ground Zeroes. Handle that for me VGA’s.
