gears reach o.d.s.t….
i really hope microsoft does not continue this “squeezing to death” mentality on the next console. i love these games, but the numbers do not lie. each version sinks in sales and you would think that microsoft, of all people, would notice the decline in sales. although they do like to come up with marketing crap to make it sound like its flying through the walls… perhaps they are believing their own hype now?
Rudero, you’re an idiot.
Really? Sales are falling? Last I heard Halo 4 had the most pre-orders out of any Halo game, and had the best first week sales of any Halo title, the articles are all over every site.
Secondly, really, only MS does this? God of War: Ascension, Ghost of Sparta, Chains of Olympus etc, Uncharted: Golden Abyss and the new one coming out that isn’t a numbered title… MS doesn’t have a handheld, so instead of making installments for their IPs on those, they can afford to make big budget full-fledged AAA titles on the 360.
Gears and Halo (especially Halo) have massive universes and untold stories, they have potential for new games. Especially Halo, the Forerunners and lore in the books leaves so much ripe for a game. Besides, Halo:CEA is a Halo 1 remake, ODST is called Halo 3:ODST, it was an expansion pack packaged with Halo 3 MP sold at retail, not a full game. Halo 1-3, Reach, Halo:Wars and Halo 4 are the real Halo games.
PS3s big franchises get the same treatment, Uncharted, God of War and MGS have had a crap-ton of installments. I don’t even need to mention Nintendo. Stop being a hypocrite and do your research.
