For months now, PlayStation Vita owners have been practically begging Sony for folder support. In just a few days, the company will be following through on those requests.
This week’s issue of Dengeki PlayStation confirms that an imminent firmware update will add folders as well as other functionality.
Users can store ten icons per folder. Each can be given its own name, but keep in mind that the icons inside will see their display images reduced.
Sony will also be making improvements to the PS Vita web browser through video streaming. Supported formats are unknown for the time being.
There’s also talk about enhancements to Nasne, but this won’t be of much interest to North America and European PS Vita owners.
PS Vita firmware ver.2.10 launches very soon. There’s a chance that it could be going live by Wednesday/Thursday.
