But I bought MGS collection on PS3 already, it had MGS2, 3, and Peace Walker. So this is just a cash grab by Konami.

Yeah I bought MGS1 and MGS4 and have MGS HD Collection. Too late. BUT good for those that STILL haven’t played any or just 1-2 MGS games.

I don’t understand why Konami keeps ignoring Portable Ops from these collections?!

Yeah would be nice to have all PSP titles on PS3 even if wasn’t in HD.

is portable ops even cannon? because they way they shun that game it makes me thing that. i mean every other MGS gets praised but portable ops is like the black sheep

What happened in Portable Ops? where does it take place in the timeline and what happened in the game?

I haven’t played it. I think it’s set two years before Peace Walker.

”It is the first canonical outing of the MGS series for a portable platform, following the storyline of MGS3. Set in 1970 in South America, six years after the events of Snake Eater, the game follows the exploits of Naked Snake after his former unit, FOX, goes renegade. It also chronicles the eventual founding of Foxhound and The Patriots, as well as the inspiration of the military state Outer Heaven.” – a quick sum up from Wiki.

Portable Ops wasn’t directed by Kojima.

      • Yldefonso Then

He worked as producer while it was directed by members of his team, but the game is canonical as well. So it is still part of the storyline, it should of being included in the collection in my opinion.

The Big Question: How much is all that gonna cost?

  • matt666

what a kick in the balls to all the fans who already got the HD collection but its a great game and when is it coming to Europe

Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes would make this better!

    • Mallikite

The Twin Snakes can NEVER be released on a PlayStation console (unless Nintendo went out of business) 1. The big N owns the rights to that game. 2. The games code is actually comprised of Nintendo assists (there is a Gamecube/wave-bird. The game is formatted to read GC memory cards at the Phyco-mantis section.
